Assessing Yourself

The Importance of Knowing How You Play

The game of TAG is literally the default mode of all human interaction. It is what you do when you are not thinking – when you are not using your freedom in Christ (Galatians 5:1). Since TAG is literally a mindless way of interacting, the first step out of slavery and into freedom is to become consciously aware of the ways in which YOU play the game.

Do you play a passive version of the game? Oftentimes, people who call themselves “laid-back” are just playing Frozen TAG, one of the passive versions of the game. If you are overly-busy, you might be playing Absent TAG, the second passive version.

You might be playing Constant TAG or Team TAG, the two active versions of the game.

Regardless of which version you play, you will continue to be a slave to the game until you learn to recognize your old patterns. Step one is understanding how you play.

Our Simple, Yet Amazing, Tests

Dr. Glenn Pickering, a scientist and pastoral counselor, has spent 20 years studying human behavior. Along with his wife, Gwen, he literally wrote the book on TAG. Thus, he was uniquely qualified to create for you these two TAG-related assessment tools.

The first of these, SnapShot, is a fun way for you to begin learning more about yourself. The second, A Deeper Look, provides you with a more complete and detailed picture of exactly when and how you play TAG. It will literally change the way you see yourself and the world.

Knowledge is power! It is also the key to your freedom.
