Providing Counseling for Marriage and other Relationships

Gwen Pickering

In her ninth-grade Social Studies course, the students in Gwen’s class were given the assignment of writing an autobiography. In hers, Gwen noted that, “teaching is one of the greatest gifts in the world, next to learning, which is a gift you give to yourself.” Her two loves – learning and teaching – have proven to be the cornerstones of her life. Gwen followed her passion and became a Social Studies teacher and then a guidance counselor, earning her BA in Education and then her MA in Educational Psychology.

When her daughter, Rachel, went into 10th grade, Gwen took a 3-year leave from her position as a school counselor to be a stay-home mom. During that time, she began helping Glenn lead the LTT workshops, where she was moved and inspired by the amazing transformations she witnessed.

The Living The Truth (LTT) workshops offered everything Gwen loved most – intense personal growth, intimate connections, deep scriptural roots, the chance to teach, and the opportunity to ministry alongside Glenn, her life-long partner.

Gwen never did return to her school counseling position. She currently teams with Glenn in leading seminars, writing books, and designing TAG-related educational materials. She feels strongly that the TAG concepts are a tremendous blessing to people, in that they are easy to understand, can be applied instantly, and have a nearly immediate impact. She also feels that the TAG concepts are universal.  Gwen has spoken to audiences ranging from corporate leaders to busy moms to prison inmates, all of which have been able to understand and be freed  from the game.

According to her listeners:

“Gwen is a great story-teller who shares her personal examples in a way that helps to anchor the core concepts. Her authenticity will put you at ease, while her warm and generous personality will touch and inspire you.”

“You will love Gwen’s openness and grace.”

“Gwen’s energy and charisma is the perfect balance to Glenn’s gentle wisdom.”

We urge you to attend a LTT event or to invite Gwen to speak at your next gathering, so that you might experience Gwen’s enthusiasm and passion in-person.
